YOUR MISSION

Glovo is growing and facing new challenges, that's why we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Paralegal that will work with the Legal team of the company on managing the day-to-day implications of the business.

THE JOURNEY

  • Take initiative – when a challenge comes up, you'll find a way to address it.
  • Provide support to the  different verticals of the legal department, in particular.
    • Preparation of listings and search for evidence in Glovo's digital systems to respond to cases.
    • Responding to customer complaints on very specific cases by following a clear pre-established protocol.
    • Processing of public deeds.
    • Support on the preparation of briefs and reports of the internal investigations and analysis.
    • Support on the management of the whistleblowing channels
    • Create, review and adapt compliance policies and procedures
    • Create compliance committee minutes, presentations and reports
    • Support on international compliance controls including sanctions screening
    • Assistance with trainings, awareness campaigns and communications
    • Support on crime prevention (risk assessment, policies, training, etc.)
    • Support on  risk management
    • Audit support
    • Support on Policies review
    • Review, analyze privacy agreements with all the players involved in the business
    • Work with business stakeholders to complete privacy risk assessments, documents remediation plans and monitors their execution. 
    • Support on keeping updated Record of Processing Activities, perform Data Protection Impact Assessments on new applications and procedures
    • Promote privacy awareness throughout the business and provide content for a regular cadence of communications to keep privacy on the business agenda.
    • Preparation and data investigation concerning matters related to privacy regulations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Experience in a similar position with proven knowledge of the function of Paralegal. 
  • Native Spanish and Advanced English (speaking and drafting) 
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Highly motivated by the world of start-ups and new technologies.
  • Problem solver.
  • Organised and attention to detail-oriented.
  • Adaptation skills.
  • International profile, able to work in a flexible, collaborative and multidisciplinary environment
  • Expertise in the use of Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Docs, etc.).
