YOUR MISSION

As a Supply Operations Lead at Glovo, you will play a key role in optimizing our supply operations to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of services across our markets. Your main responsibility will be to lead, guide, and develop the Fleet Support Specialists, driving their performance and fostering a culture of excellence. You will also be the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams. Your data-driven decision-making, along with your focus on continuous improvement, will be instrumental in achieving Glovo’s operational goals and advancing our logistics strategy. By overseeing and optimizing the operations of your team, you will directly contribute to the performance and scalability of Glovo’s delivery network, ensuring that our partners thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.

THE JOURNEY

  • Set and track operational KPIs aligned with Glovo’s strategic objectives, driving continuous improvement in performance.
  • Be responsible for their continuous monitoring and achievement
  • Be able to analyze, deep dive and find solutions to any potential issue that deviates cities and external logistics partners (3PLs) from their operational goals
  • Lead and mentor a team of Fleet Support Specialists, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet operational objectives and exceed performance standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the team and across operations, developing and implementing strategies to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Use data and performance metrics to track operations, pinpointing areas of improvement and proactively addressing challenges.
  • Act as a change agent, continuously evaluating and implementing best practices to improve the performance and scalability of the logistics network.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, providing operational insights and support to optimize fleet performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders, both internal and external, to align operational activities and resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as Commercial, Product, Finance, and Data to support the broader operational goals of Glovo.
  • Provide guidance and leadership, ensuring that your team’s efforts align with broader company goals and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
  • Support the onboarding and development of new team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment where everyone can grow and contribute effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics
  • Analytical mindset with solid experience in using data to drive decision-making and solve operational challenges.
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to drive change and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different levels and teams.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Experience in logistics, fleet management, or supply chain operations is highly desirable.
  • Passion for building high-performing teams and optimizing operations.
  • A collaborative and inclusive mindset, with a focus on helping others grow and succeed.
