YOUR MISSION

The PR and Communications team is a vital part of the Glovo business. The team’s core objective is to communicate the positive impact Glovo is having on our ecosystem: from users and couriers to more than 160,000 local stores and restaurants we are privileged to call our partners. We pursue one vision -  to build the largest marketplace in your city to give you access to anything in minutes. 

We are looking for an intern to join our team. In this role, you will be a part of the global PR & Communications team based in our HQ in Barcelona. If you love communication and tech, and you are up for big challenges, Glovo is definitely your place to be. THE JOURNEY

  • Support the Global PR & Communications team in creating media strategies and engagement
  • Help define tools and materials to support local teams.
  • Draft key internal and external documents: corporate positionings, key messages, project decks, press releases, Q&A for media, interview briefings for executives, etc.
  • Help developing corporate narratives in different formats: press releases, articles, thought leadership pieces, social media content, etc
  • Global Media monitoring and reporting to track Glovo’s coverage and industry news to provide interesting insights & trends to the team.
  • Find new opportunities for Glovo to engage in speaking opportunities and special events
  • Support on media outreach assisting in proposing and drafting media pitches
  • Be able to turn Glovo’s data into compelling stories for the media and other stakeholders
  • Participate and organise creative brainstorming sessions to find the best ways of communicating different Glovo initiatives
  • Assist the team during crisis situations
  • Regularly audit metrics to continually analyze the progress and make sure targets are reached and new opportunities are identified across narratives & countries
  • Work with different departments on cross-functional projects.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Currently studying a degree or recently graduated in Communication, PR, Journalism or related disciplines. 
  • Availability for 6 months full-time internship within university studies 
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Efficiency, flexibility and proactiveness.
  • Versatility: we are looking for somebody who can provide support to global and local PR teams, and be able to wear multiple hats.  
  • Ability to understand the business and its challenges
  • Ability to understand the reputational risks we might face within the countries
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
  • Rigorous in organization and planning
  • Social abilities and team-worker
  • Ability to develop in a multicultural environment
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
