YOUR MISSION

As an Operations Analyst you will work on the local forecasting function (supply & demand balance). This role will require a mix of operations, stakeholder management, analytical skills, and creativity to tackle different challenges. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Be the owner of Operational metrics in Kazakhstan
  • Establish the monthly/quarterly goals of your cities and being responsible for the continuous monitoring and achievement
  • Be the owner of courier’s budget (CPO)
  • Own all dashboards for your cities and build new tools to improve our visibility on their performance
  • Be able to analyze, deep dive and find solutions to any potential issue that deviates your cities from their goals
  • Perform any required analysis to come up with insights to improve metrics in all cities of the region
  • Track the impact of all the new implementations that you propose by checking the daily metrics of the cities
  • Build, maintain and scale detailed reporting models aiming to support your cities' performance and make data driven decisions
  • Define, implement and monitor procedures together with Supply team to improve the performance of any individual city
  • Lead by example by being incredibly truth seeking, making data-driven decisions, and setting the high standards for the team
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar)
  • 1-2 years of experience in high demanding roles or analytical positions (consulting, investment banking, operations, finance, logistics, analytics, strategy, etc.)
  • A data-driven mentality with strong analytical skills: taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
  • Problem-solving skills and hands on attitude: no problem is too small or too big
  • You're an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen and result oriented
  • Comfortable working in a high growth and high-performance start-up with a fast pace
  • Excellent stakeholder management. Experience interacting effectively at multiple levels of the organization is highly valued
  • Expertise in MS Excel and strong SQL knowledge
  • Proficiency in English, written and oral
