Glovo is dedicated to revolutionizing the delivery market by providing exceptional "WOW!" service to clients, focusing on every detail. As a hyperlocal marketplace, Glovo partners with top city venues to deliver products in under 30 minutes.
Glovo seeks a detail-oriented, data-driven professional to optimize delivery operations in complex cities, giving access to vast data resources and a top-tier tech team to implement innovative improvements on courier and restaurant partner performance.
As an Operations Analyst reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll play a key role in optimizing Glovo’s delivery operations. Using data-driven insights, you’ll identify trends, tackle inefficiencies, and support strategic decisions that directly impact couriers, customers, and partners (restaurants, supermarkets, retailers).
This role demands a blend of operational expertise, stakeholder management, and strong analytical skills to drive Glovo’s operational effectiveness and elevate the user experience across cities.
THE JOURNEY
- Provide scalable data analysis to support Courier, Supply, and Partner Ops teams, impacting key KPIs.
- Collaborate with departments (e.g., Commercial, Growth, Finance) to plan, execute, and monitor operations-related projects.
- Analyze daily and weekly metrics with a focus on long-term city performance and local supply status.
- Lead projects to improve KPIs like Delivery Time and Cancellations and ensure accurate courier forecasting.
- Maintain and analyze business reports to support supply chain operational decisions, producing daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Background
- University degree in a relevant field (engineering, economics, organizational sciences and similar).
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in positions with a strong analytical component (relevant internships can be considered).
- Experience in Logistics or Tech would be a plus.
Key Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills - you are hypothesis-driven & looking for data to drive decisions.
- Results oriented and analytical mindset.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills, highly organized and detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and/or MS Office, Excel.
- Excellent written and spoken Bulgarian & English language.
- Proficiency in SQL and in queries.
- Python knowledge is not required but valued.
