YOUR MISSION
The Pricing team at Glovo is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Pricing Planning & Reporting Analyst to support our Pricing team leveraging existing tools to provide recommendations to the local teams to deliver price optimisations at scale. You will be the go-to person across Glovo for financial and budgeting questions around Pricing, also building best in class reporting capabilities to enable local teams to make savvy investment decisions.
You will interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization on a regular basis and hence require the ability to compartmentalize requests and formulate applicable data-driven solutions. You will require a sharp business focus, a collaborative style of working, and a proactive and critical mindset. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesis complex issues, drive desired outcomes. Glovo is a fast moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes. The successful candidate is a self-starter with a passion for data analytics and continuously demonstrates an ability to tackle complex problems and implement solutions.
Be a part of a team where you will:
- Focus on Pricing planning and own the related reporting tooling.
- Increase transparency through continuously improving our tooling, dashboards and reporting landscape for planning.
- Play a central role by taking care of the consolidation and allocation of pricing inputs during planning processes and monthly reporting
- Propose and explore key KPIs, challenging & supporting both central and local teams with our high quality, data-driven analytical insights in the pricing related core decision processes.
- Work autonomously with data to create new metrics and reports and maintain existing ones in close cooperation with Pricing Data and Finance Marketing.
- Be a go-to person for other Growth teams, for our Pricing Analytics, Pricing Operations, Regional teams and Senior Management, providing transparency and decision support.
- Own and/or support other strategic projects impacting Pricing HQ
You have:
- A university degree in engineering, economics, business administration, mathematics, statistics or similar disciplines (preferred).
- An analytical/financial focus (Financial modelling, Analytical tooling, Planning & Reporting, Dashboards, etc.).
- Proficiency in SQL. Experience with Looker, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools as well as interest in other querying languages is a plus.
- Prior experience in Finance, Controlling, Commercial Planning and/ or similar fields of expertise are a plus.
- A very good understanding of numbers and excellent analytical skills with a passion for the latest tools & technologies
- A Controlling mindset with an ability to challenge & support our stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis to enable our growth strategy, understanding key trade-offs and actively supporting business decisions.
- Fluency in English. Having the capability to not only communicate clearly but also write structurally and understandably.
