YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Workday Absence Module Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Workday Absence module. A strong understanding of time tracking functionality within Workday is a plus. This role requires collaboration with HR teams to ensure effective absence management and compliance with relevant policies.

THE JOURNEY

  • Configure and maintain the Workday Absence module to meet organizational needs.
  • Support the configuration and maintenance of the Time Tracking module as needed.
  • Consult various teams on possible solutions and best practices
  • Proactively review and improve current configuration. Participate in system enhancements and updates to improve the absence management process
  • Review and implement new features and functionalities
  • Troubleshoot errors and incidents

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 3+ years hands-on experience working in Workday Absence
  • Understanding of HR policies and absence management best practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations related to employee absences
  • Experience with the Time Tracking module is an advantage.
  • Experience with absence configuration for more than 3 countries.
  • Experience in delivering sustainable and scalable solutions in Workday Absence
  • Solid understanding of the HCM module in Workday and its interdependencies with other functional domains and integrations.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Solid analytical mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to critically evaluate provided requirements and proposed solutions based on best practices
    • Ability to empathise with users and consider user experience when building solutions
    • Experience working in Scrum is an advantage
