YOUR MISSION

You will be a key resource to provide revenue and pricing insights and solutions to Glovo’s commercial teams dedicated to distribution of advertising and monetization products. You will use and generate information resources regarding our Partner’s KPIs, historical data, market conditions, and internal margin/revenue targets to prepare revenue forecasts & models, internal proposals regarding pricing and sales strategies for future products/campaigns/seasons/segments. 

In this role you will be part of the Partners Team at Glovo HQ,  being able to Improve Glovo’s food partners P&L and creating a scalable revenue stream. Working in the Global team you will play a pivotal role for the teams in all our geographies to deliver the Ads & Monetisation business plan contributing directly to the company P&L.

You’ll be part of a new area and have the opportunity to work on new solutions and bring existing ones to the next level.

THE JOURNEY

  • Develop and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly dynamic forecasts of expected revenue results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Develop and maintain the key data data funnels of the Partners ads vertical (i.e. sales , penetration, retention) setting up and support centralized dashboards.  
  • Deliver growth and profitability models to plan and size business initiatives and investment areas. 
  • Establish and measure adequate KPIs to assess local performance and determine the effectiveness of the implemented initiatives (e.g., new assets) 
  • Grow Advertising revenue & maximize profitability by identifying actions, that encourage higher sale values, volumes, conversion rates, margin rates, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead revenue-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations
  • Conduct trainings to ensure all impacted colleagues are fully competent in the use of all tools, processes and insights  
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals
  • Drive clarity and solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches
  • Own the reporting structure for the commercial team, ensuring our team is both data driven and aligned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2-4 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting, in a quantitative analysis role, preferably in commercial facing teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with clean & optimized SQL and python, querying mid to large volumes of data.
  • In-depth knowledge of BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performance
  • Ability to summarize and represent data (e.g., descriptive statistics and graphs).
  • Ability to create robust, insightful, and story-telling visualizations using modern BI & Analytics tools and ability to identify data Issues.
  • Familiarity with a collaborative environment and/or version control (GitHub, Git).
  • Ability to build hypotheses and test them (sometimes by piloting projects entirely)
  • Project management / coordination skills. Determined to get things done
  • Understanding of A/B test principles, to design, conduct and analyze different experiments.
  • You are eager to learn, hungry for knowledge, and want to work towards growing in your career from day one.
  • You are independent in solving problems within your capabilities and proactive in asking for support when the task is beyond your expertise.
  • You are not afraid of giving/receiving constant & honest feedback
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Bachelor in, economics, statistics, math or engineering preferred
