YOUR MISSION

You will be a key resource to provide revenue and pricing insights and solutions to Glovo’s commercial teams dedicated to distribution of advertising and monetisation products. You will use and generate information resources regarding our Partner’s KPIs, historical data, market conditions, and internal margin/revenue targets to prepare revenue forecasts & models, internal proposals regarding pricing and sales strategies for future products/campaigns/seasons/segments. 

In this role you will be part of the Partners Team,  contributing to the Improvement of  Glovo’s food partners Ads & Monetisation business plan with direct impact in the company P&L.

You’ll be part of a new area and have the opportunity to work on new solutions and bring existing ones to the next level.

Experimentation, learning and quick iterations will be part of your daily life.

THE JOURNEY

  • Develop and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly dynamic forecasts of expected revenue results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools (for example: elasticity of demand calculators, pace and lead time reports) and profitability models.
  • Grow ads & monetization revenue & maximize profitability by identifying pricing actions that encourage higher sale values, volumes, conversion rates, margin rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and make pricing recommendations for each partner’s segments to obtain the best business mix in Romania.
  • Lead revenue-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations.
  • Oversee and manage all day to day pricing operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Min. 3 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting, in a quantitative analysis role, preferably in commercial facing teams.
  • A strong grasp of statistical concepts, especially those related to experiment design and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, understanding of A/B testing practices, ability to draw conclusions from data. 
  • In-depth knowledge of BI tools such as Looker and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of advertising platforms such as Google Ads
  • Ability to turn strategic insights into actions, by structuring and leading projects. Build hypotheses and test them (sometimes by piloting projects entirely).
  • Commercially minded with an empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude.
  • Project management / coordination skills. Determined to get things done.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Comfortable working in a high growth and high-performance start-up with a fast pace.
  • Bachelor in economics, statistics, marketing, advertising  preferred. 

Nice to have:

  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Proficiency with python 
  • Experience within the digital advertising industry and data monetisation
