YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Sales professional, your primary objective is to spearhead the growth of Glovo's Q-Commerce vertical. You will take ownership of developing the retail subvertical, playing a pivotal role in propelling the expansion and prosperity of our business. Your focus will be on cultivating robust relationships and securing partnerships with key Retail partners, spanning technology, beauty, pharmacies, and various shops nationwide.

THE JOURNEY (responsibilities) 

  • Proactively identifying new business opportunities within the retail sector and effectively pitching our services to potential partners.
  • Negotiating and closing deals that not only contribute to the growth of our platform but also align with our profitability targets.
  • Demonstrating a keen understanding of market trends and leveraging this knowledge to drive sales strategies.
  • Meeting and exceeding both personal and company sales targets through effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE (requirements)

  • Minimum 5 years of total experience in Sales and/or Business development
  • Knowledge of the Retail & Grocery industry is a significant plus
  • Proactive, organized, and obsessed with detail and accuracy
  • Problem solving with strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Autonomous and self motivated who is able to work in a highly demanding environment
  • Data-driven mentality and a result oriented mindset
  • Computer literate; good knowledge of Google Docs, MS Office and Salesforce
  • Full proficiency in Bulgarian and fluent in English is a must
