THE JOURNEY

Become part of the finance team, where you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain the company's accounting books according to the statutory regulations.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements
  • Monthly reporting of accounting data to the group 
  • Implementing and improving closing procedures
  • Creating reports for group reporting purposes
  • Performing calculations for transformations between the Accounting Act and IFRS
  • Developing accounting policies and procedures
  • Leading projects related to the implementation and testing of financial software
  • Conducting tax settlements with the support of a tax advisor
  • Follow the changes in company policy, tax regulations and legislation.
  • Communicating with external auditors and regulatory authorities
  • Collaborating with other units within the Glovo group
  • Manage a team under your supervision

What You Will Bring To The Ride:

  • At least 4 years of experience in an accounting services company or as an accountant
  • A higher education degree in accounting, economics, or related fields, which will be given priority
  • Knowledge in the field of accounting, including CIT and VAT taxes
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, such as Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience in implementing IT solutions is a plus
  • Proficiency in both English and Polish at a minimum of B2 level
  • Familiarity with Comarch Optima and LucaNet systems, which will be considered an additional asset
  • Professional accountancy qualification e.g. ACCA is an advantage (qualified or part qualified).
