YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, we are witnessing extraordinary growth in our Quick-commerce business, and we’re just getting started. As leaders in this space, we have a unique opportunity to increase online grocery penetration from 2-3% to over 10% in our markets.

As a Program Manager in our Quick-commerce Product Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our core value propositions and unlocking significant growth opportunities for the business. You will be tasked with addressing complex business challenges that span multiple product teams. This position requires a solid foundation in product management to develop effective, holistic solutions that tackle these challenges. Additionally, you will utilize your program management skills to collaborate with various product managers, ensuring that these solutions are seamlessly integrated into their respective roadmaps. Furthermore, a comprehensive understanding of the intricate ecosystem of technology platforms in use will be essential for identifying blind spots that may affect business operations as new technologies or features are introduced.

THE JOURNEY

  • Strategic Program Management: Leverage your program management expertise to navigate complex business challenges that cut across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to align on priorities, gather insights, and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and devise effective solutions that drive product success.
  • Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking to assess complex situations, make informed decisions, and prioritize initiatives that maximize impact.
  • Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for some of the most complex problems in Quick-commerce business.
  • User Insights: Conduct field visits to partners or customer interviews to gather user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and iterate based on data-driven insights.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in program management in complex environments
  • Product Management experience is a plus 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment without excessive structure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong at critical thinking with analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • A strong business-driven mindset and product sense.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to align a diverse set of stakeholders (both technical and non-technical), drive vision, and clearly explain user value and business impact.
