YOUR MISSION

Our Brand Design team is looking for a Motion Designer to support our Regional Design team. This position will put all efforts into User Acquisition and Retention by creating outstanding creatives for Performance Marketing channels and TV. 

A significant part of your daily work, approximately 80% of your time, will involve adapting, iterating, and optimizing existing high-performing creative assets for high-volume deployment across diverse channels. Your senior expertise will be crucial in ensuring these assets remain fresh and effective, while constantly seeking opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.

You will be working directly with the comms, performance digital marketing, and local teams, which are key drivers of growth at Glovo. Therefore, you will be directly working on educating, creating, and demonstrating the value that Glovo has for the user.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills and should be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

The person that we are looking for has good knowledge of applying consistent design principles to their projects and they should have the capacity to lead a project from start to end while also sharing their learnings.

THE JOURNEY

  • Ensure brand consistency and proactively manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Analyze customer insights, performance data and implement data-driven design decisions resulting in impactful video ads.
  • Coordinate and innovate regional campaigns, staying updated with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand motion design solutions, especially in all acquisition channels (social and display networks).
  • Foster a mindset towards scaling creativities, prioritizing optimization over constant generation, and seeking ways to allocate more time to analysis and less to execution. You will be a key driver in this shift, transforming iterative creative production into a highly efficient process, and actively looking for automation and smart solutions within the majority of your tasks
  • Communicate and present projects’ rationale clearly and fluently with stakeholders.
  • Inspire other design team members.
  • Adapt and execute campaigns for the assigned region, seeking for local innovation and detecting business opportunities in your

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • English: Professional Proficiency is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in a high-performance start-up/fast-paced/agency environment with a strong Portfolio. This is a must! Applications without a portfolio will be automatically rejected.
  • Good knowledge of the main mobile and social video formats.
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC: Advanced level of After Effects. Good level of Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and AI tools. Other design programs and plugins are a plus.
  • Experience in making data-driven design decisions by identifying best practices through benchmarking.
  • Solid knowledge of animation & motion principles.
  • Ability to work on several projects at the same time and work with tight deadlines.
  • Capable of following guidelines and playbooks.
  • A keen eye for detail. Each frame has 24 pictures or more!
  • Determined to get things done (problem-solving attitude)
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance start-up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and demonstrated ability to multitask and self-prioritize
  • Proactive, detail-oriented team player with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, whether in 1:1 or group situations.
  • Proactively takes ownership of projects and takes new risks/initiatives.
  • An empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and the ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
