Join us as a Courier Operations Specialist and become a key member of Glovo's local operations team! We are looking for someone who will be responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of our courier fleet.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Maintain good cooperation with logistic partners and their performance through:
    • Acquisition 
      • Assessing fleet size planning and pushing partners to reach the target
      • Ensure that couriers have all the onboarding trainings and needed information
    • Performance 
      • Monitoring and push them on their performance 
    • Legal 
      • Initiate change of contracts if needed 
      • Communicate to Operations manager and legal team if notice any contract violation by logistic partners 
  • Maintain couriers’ experience and support using inputs received from logistic partners and in cooperation with them:
    • Organize special trainings for couriers (eg. safety training) and additional benefits like prize games
    • Keep up to date all information relevant for couriers (eg. special events, holiday working hours, closing of some part of the cities)
    • For specific complaints of courier, if needed, open a tickets on internal service desk portal 
  • KPI monitoring and improvement with focus on couriers’ operations metrics
  • Courier feedback collection through organizing focus groups, tracking various reports in addition to following up on insights and data collected
  • Couriers’ budget follow up and suggestions to Ops manager on how to use available resources
  • Ad Hoc projects
    • Implementing activities of Pledge project in Montenegro
    • Support Ops manager in fleet related projects

You have:

  • Experience of 3+ in similar roles
  • Fluent in English
  • Nice to have - analytical skills and is able to manage looker/excel/google spreadsheets to be able to make presentations for 3Pls / couriers / Glovo management if needed 
  • Good communicator with ability and agility to solve problems
  • Being highly motivated to work for a fast-growing startup
  • Enjoy learning and adapting to new technologies
  • Have good energy and like what you do, even on bad days
  • Have a data sensitive approach, fly in Excel and/or Google sheets and slides
  • Ability to work within a team and independently. 
  • Ability to execute fast and well-done activities and events
  • Ability to manage small work teams
