YOUR MISSION

Our Brand Design team is looking for a Graphic Designer to support our Regional Design team. This position will put all efforts into User Acquisition and Retention by creating outstanding creatives.

You will be working directly with the Comms, Performance Digital marketing, CRM and local teams,  which are key drivers of growth at Glovo. Therefore you will be directly working on educating, creating, and demonstrating the value that Glovo has for the user.

A significant part of your daily work, approximately 80% of your time, will involve adapting, iterating, and optimizing existing high-performing creative assets for high-volume deployment across diverse channels. As you ensure these creatives remain fresh and effective at high volumes, you will play a critical role in our operational evolution: identifying opportunities to automate these workflows. By driving this transition, you will help us transition from manual repetition to automated efficiency, ultimately unlocking greater capacity for innovation projects.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills and should be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. The person that we are looking for has good knowledge of applying consistent design principles to their projects. They should have the capacity to lead a project from start to end while also sharing their learnings.

 

THE JOURNEY

  • Manage end-to-end design aspects of projects, including briefing discussions, benchmarking, ideation, sketching, design conceptualization, etc..
  • Apply best practices in user experience into your designs as well as best practices of the media platforms (such as Performance Marketing, OOH, CRM).
  • Foster a mindset towards scaling creativities, prioritizing optimization over constant generation, and seeking ways to allocate more time to analysis and less to execution.
  • Adapt and execute campaigns for the Africa region, seeking for local innovation and detecting business opportunities in your conversations with Local Teams.
  • Have a data-driven creative process and translate ideas into all sorts of designs
  • Propose new creatives and templates for your region and main stakeholders based on data and research. Refresh old content and create new design proposals. 
  • Communicate design rationale in a clear and fluent manner with stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all countries where Glovo operates and proactively manage time and deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing local team, motion designers, stakeholders, and copywriters to ensure cohesive visual branding.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • English: Professional Proficiency is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in a high-performance start-up/fast-paced/agency environment with a strong Portfolio. This is a must! Applications without a portfolio will be automatically rejected.
  • Past experience generating content for Paid Social channels is also required. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma and Adobe CC: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and AI tools (Image, Retouching, prompting). Other design programs and plugins are a plus.
  • Experience in making data-driven design decisions by identifying best practices through benchmarking.
  • Solid knowledge of design principles and a keen eye for detail.
  • Capable of following guidelines and playbooks. 
  • Determined to get things done (problem-solving attitude)
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance start-up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and demonstrated ability to multitask and self-prioritize
  • Proactive, detail-oriented team player with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, whether in 1:1 or group situations. 
  • Proactively takes ownership of projects and takes new risks/initiatives.
  • An empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and the ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions, knowledge of  HTML and CSS.
