YOUR MISSION

The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Team aims to improve business processes and mitigate risks by implementing internal controls and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations at all levels and in all aspects of the business. We are part of an international environment in which we are handling group-level policies and procedures. 

As a Risk Assurance Lead in the GRC team, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating and managing Glovo’s risk and compliance framework. You’ll lead risk assurance efforts across multiple regions and functions, ensuring that internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes are embedded, effective, and continuously improved.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead the risk cycle across Glovo’s key entities, working with business and tech stakeholders to identify, assess and manage risks, internal controls and mitigation measures.
  • Conduct ad hoc reviews, prioritizing high-risk areas and identifying key improvements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify opportunities for process and control enhancements.
  • Provide support to business teams in group Internal Audits and in the implementation of recommendations. 
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Security, Finance, and Operations areas to ensure end-to-end risk assurance across the company.
  • Design the GRC training programs, tools, and awareness campaigns tailored to Glovo’s dynamic and multicultural environment. 
  • Deliver risk and compliance training across multiple markets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing expert guidance on risk management, internal controls and compliance matters.
  • Drive GRC program implementation. Analyze and enhance compliance policies and monitor adherence across business units.
  • Support compliance investigations, reporting, and remediation actions as needed.
  • Mentor other members of the GRC team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate and report regularly to the central group team to ensure alignment on GRC  initiatives.
  • Manage the KYB/C and International sanctions screening process.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business or related areas;
  • From 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in any of the following: compliance / risk management / audit or related areas
  • Excellent English language skills. Fluency in Spanish.
  • Expertise in the use of Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Docs, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and / or Google sheet to prepare complex risk matrix, create dashboards and perform data analysis. 
  • Ability to prepare excellent reports, executive presentations and dynamic training; Good knowledge of Canva and other design tools; 
  • Ability to navigate across multiple geographies and cultures;
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including strengths in influencing, conflict management and negotiation;
  • High energy and creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a growing and changing environment;
  • Multitasking and ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills;
  • Previous experience in the Big 4 would be an advantage.
