YOUR MISSION
Q-Commerce is the second biggest category inside Glovo and we are currently building a strong team in order to re-invent how consumers buy their groceries and any other product in their city, making it more convenient and easy than ever before. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class user experience for our customers, leading the implementation of the right assortment, categorization, content, pricing and promotion strategies.

THE JOURNEY

  • Optimize conversion rate, average order value (AOV), and assortment breadth to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for users.
  • Own the assortment onboarding process by providing partners with clear templates and detailed guidance on their usage.
  • Review and refine new partners' assortment files before bringing them live, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Create and maintain the category tree, ensuring proper classification and seamless functionality across all stores.
  • Conduct assortment gap analysis and competitor benchmarking, including tracking no-result searches and analyzing competitor offerings.
  • Ensure high-potential and top-selling products are easily discoverable through search, categories, and personalized recommendations.
  • Monitor product availability continuously, working with partners to reduce out-of-stock rates and improve replacement efficiency.
  • Use conversion funnel analysis to identify missing or underperforming products and recommend optimizations.
  • Collaborate with grocery partners to enhance product images, descriptions, and attributes, driving better engagement and conversion.
  • Align assortment, pricing, and promotions with seasonal trends, local market preferences, and demand fluctuations.
  • Regularly meet with partners’ category management teams (especially top partners) to review conversion rate and basket size trends.
  • Expand and improve product selection by working closely with retail partners and introducing exclusive products, bundles and promo-packs.
  • Ensure the availability of niche and specialty items to cater to diverse customer needs and enhance the platform’s appeal.
  • Conduct routine “Walk the Store” audits to identify errors or improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and optimize catalog tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in product listings.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Ads team to facilitate the execution of ad campaigns within the grocery marketplace.
  • Address and resolve partners’ ad-hoc requests, ensuring smooth operations and strong relationships.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG Category management
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to senior partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and data-driven approach to issues
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Full proficiency in English is required
  • Grittiness, never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
