YOUR MISSION

Join our dynamic Finance team in Ukraine, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape through data-driven insights. As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in transforming raw financial data into actionable intelligence, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing directly to Glovo's rapid growth and success in the on-demand delivery sector. You will collaborate closely with various departments, driving efficiency and optimizing financial operations.

THE JOURNEY

  • Gather, process, reconcile, and analyze financial and operational data from various sources to support management reporting activities.
  • Conduct regular and thorough data quality checks to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across all financial datasets.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable, self-service reports and dashboards using advanced visualization tools to facilitate comprehensive business performance assessment.
  • Present complex findings and actionable insights to relevant stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Streamline and automate routine data queries and reporting processes to enhance efficiency in data collection, verification, and analysis.
  • Act as a technical lead in compiling, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data for departmental projects, contributing to strategic financial initiatives.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing data-backed insights to inform financial planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities by providing accurate and timely financial data analysis.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for experience in a finance-related environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets for collaborative data management and reporting.
  • Practical knowledge of SQL is a must for querying and managing large datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot, for complex data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with BigQuery and data analysis libraries in Python will be a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar will be an advantage.
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • An analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all analyses.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and financial awareness, enabling you to understand the broader implications of data insights.
  • Capacity to manage workload effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
