As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead and grow a portfolio of partners in Glovo’s Specialty Food segment — including niche retailers such as organic/bio stores, wine shops, bakeries, and gourmet food outlets. You will own the business relationship end-to-end, drive performance through data-led insights, and contribute to the strategic growth of our Q-commerce vertical.

THE JOURNEY

  • Own and grow your partner portfolio by identifying opportunities, negotiating promos, activating marketing initiatives, and optimizing assortment to drive sales KPIs.
  • Lead impactful negotiations and business reviews, building trust and influencing decisions with both store-level and senior stakeholders.
  • Be hands-on in solving operational roadblocks —  investigate issues with store staff, conduct frequent on-site visits, troubleshoot devices on the spot, and provide real-time coaching.
  • Monitor performance daily at partner, store, and city level; act immediately to fix drops in KPIs, identify patterns and root causes, influence partners to take immediate corrective actions.
  • Secure smooth onboarding for new partners, ensuring they have the tools and know-how to succeed from day one.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve challenges while sharing best practices with peers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum 3 years in high-performance, data-driven account management within Retail, FMCG, Distribution or Q-Commerce
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial and operational results through proactive, in-field relationship building
  • Strong operational execution skills with a bias for fast problem-solving and KPI recovery
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights and turn them into clear, actionable steps
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, adaptable from shop floor to owners
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Fluent in Croatian and English
