YOUR MISSION

As a Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for engaging and managing relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Acquirers, with a primary focus on Spain and Europe reach. Your role will involve fostering strong partnerships, optimizing technical integrations, and identifying new business opportunities to drive adoption and enhance donation solutions. A solid understanding of point-of-sale (POS) technologies, payment world and a mix of technical and business background will be key to your success.

THE JOURNEY

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with Payment Service Providers, Acquirers, and other key industry players through proactive communication, strategic engagement, and joint business planning.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities to expand the reach of the company’s donation solutions in the payment and point of sale technology scene.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, product, and technical teams—to ensure seamless integrations and maximize value for different stakeholders such as partners, donors and merchants.
  • Leverage your technical knowledge of POS systems, payment infrastructures, and transaction processes to enhance partnerships and solve technical challenges.
  • Analyze performance metrics, follow up on key KPIs, and create reports to assess partnership success and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage less active partners, ensuring retention and ongoing collaboration.
  • Keep up to date with the latest payment technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in partnerships management, business development, or account management, preferably in the payment industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-value partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders alike.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, and Excel. Experience using Amazon QuickSight or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, payment processing, and acquiring networks.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups or fintech companies is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish & English is required; additional European languages are a plus. 
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
