YOUR MISSION

Take on the bold challenge of achieving sub-30 minute delivery times in  Serbia. Glovo offers a unique opportunity for a data-driven, detail-obsessed professional eager to elevate Courier and Partner performance and experience. You’ll work with vast datasets to fuel smart, creative decision-making and collaborate with a world-class tech team capable of turning your operational insights into impactful, scalable solutions.

THE JOURNEY

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the Operations department, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement across Courier Operations, Partner Operations, and Supply Excellence teams. Champion collaboration while consistently raising the bar on operational execution.
  • Data Driven Mindset & Problem Solving : Relentlessly analyze operational data to uncover actionable insights, identify trends, and craft high-impact strategies that drive performance and consistency across our Operations. Continuously turn complex data into clear, high-impact execution plans that empower teams and deliver results.
  • Operational Excellence: Design and embed best-in-class processes that drive efficiency and scalability across all facets of our operations. Continuously refine workflows to support high-performing teams and sustainable growth.
  • Performance & Strategy: Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, always with the goal of delivering the best possible Customer Experience. Align operational performance with long-term vision, ensuring every decision contributes to sustainable growth of our Operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Commercial, Growth, Q-Commerce, and other key teams to align initiatives and unlock new growth opportunities across Serbia. Build strong bridges across Regional and HQ Teams  to ensure seamless execution and shared success..

Strategic Thinking: Collaborate closely with the General Manager of Serbia on strategic initiatives, bringing an out-of-the-box mindset to drive operational excellence and solve complex challenges with forward-thinking solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 7+ years of experience in total.
  • 4+ years of experience in high demanding positions (operations, consulting, investment banking, etc.). 
  • 3+ years in leading and motivating high-performance teams to achieve ambitious goals

 

  • Strong analytical skills - you are always running pivot tables and looking for more data to drive decisions.
  • The ability to negotiate contracts with large organisations and  explain Glovo’s value proposition to couriers and micro and small enterprises. 
  • A can-do attitude about building a fleet of 3,000  couriers and optimising the performance of >4000 restaurants and stores.
  • Endless curiosity - you wonder why problems exist, spend hours figuring out why, and can’t stop thinking about solutions.
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
  • A passion to make a positive impact on the life of millions of people through technology
  • Experience in on-demand is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and delegation, ability to prioritise and multitask, work well under pressure, handle multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • An openness to change (changes seeker).
  • Effective communication skills (both to the team and upstream).
  • Out of the box thinker and high level of self-initiative (proactive in finding new solutions to new issues).
