YOUR MISSION

The SEE PR Team shapes and feeds the different narratives that keep Glovo at the top of mind of consumers, bringing them closer to the lifestyle of the brand and sharing its human side. We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to develop and lead the social media strategy on local Social Media Channels across SEE (Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro).

This role will oversee and proactively manage Glovo’s social media channels in the SEE Region, being responsible for the organic and paid performance of the global channels, as well as the content strategy for them to keep Glovo top of mind, foster word-of-mouth and drive positive sentiment for the brand. Similarly, the support and coordination of the area at the local level is key to this position, serving as a social media expert to the local teams to accompany them in achieving their social objectives.

This role will be a member of the Regional PR Team in Bucharest, and work closely with the HQ Global Affairs and local business teams.

THE JOURNEY

  • Plan and implement Glovo's social media strategy and activity across SEE channels to drive engagement and build an audience & community.
  • Serve as an expert in the area for countries, supporting and coordinating local strategies for global alignment and maximisation of local objectives.
  • Create high-quality concepts for scalable 360º campaigns with social media as a central element and scalable to countries.
  • Own the performance monitoring of local (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok) social networks for a flawless execution of the strategy in the SEE.
  • Coordinate local agencies for optimal paid amplification of organic content strategy on global channels and country support.
  • Daily management of Glovo's social networks in SEE (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok), including copywriting, creation of assets together with the graphic design team, publication and interaction with the community.
  • Ensure brand consistency through tone, voice and terminology across all our communications on social media.
  • Work with HQ and Regional teams, including PR & Communications, Marketing, Customer Care, Partners, People, etc.
  • You will oversee Glovo’s social media channels, creating and managing content, filming on-site, and collaborating with the graphic team. You’ll engage partners to co-create campaigns, ensuring strong branding, audience growth, and engagement.
  • Analyze PR and social media campaign metrics and measure success. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 3-4 years of proven work experience in social media
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a track record of delivering data-driven social media strategies and actionable reporting.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Social Media Management Systems (e.g. Sprout, Meta Ads, Hootsuite, Agorapulse) to facilitate coordinated global social media programs (organic and paid).
  • Creative mindset and hands-on experience in content management.
  • Online copywriting and content experience for an advertising agency or in-house for a global brand.
  • Ability to think and deliver 360º multi-channel creative concepts.
  • Comfortable working in multicultural and fast-paced environments dealing with a high number of stakeholders, moving projects together and serving as a connection point between HQ and local markets.
  • Multitasker, agile and quick on your feet.
  • Native-level of English and Romanian are required.

  • Graphic skills, including editing of short films
