YOUR MISSION

Your work will be fundamental to maintaining high standards in operational excellence and helping Glovo deliver on its promise to customers by improving fleet performance, cost-efficiency, and service quality. You will be the main point of contact for our external logistics partners (3PLs), playing a key role in strengthening relationships and ensuring operational excellence. You will be responsible for helping 3PLs improve their operations, optimize performance, and scale effectively in alignment with Glovo’s strategic goals. You will be empowered to make data-driven decisions, constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and streamline our logistics operations to meet growing demands. Your work will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our delivery network, supporting 3PLs through constant collaboration, data-driven insights, and performance management. You will actively work alongside them to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive results that contribute to their growth and success. From day one, you will have ownership of these crucial partnerships, ensuring that both Glovo and our 3PL partners thrive in a constantly evolving logistics environment.

THE JOURNEY

  • Own the operational metrics for cities and external 3PL partners, ensuring alignment with Glovo’s objectives and performance standards.
  • Establish and monitor monthly/quarterly goals for both cities and 3PL partners, driving continuous performance improvement.
  • Be the main point of contact for external 3PL partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration to optimize performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, helping them grow, improve operations, and increase profitability.
  • Support 3PLs in enhancing their operational processes, including efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and ensure that external logistics partners align with Glovo's goals and standards.
  • Track and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing actionable solutions to any potential issue that deviates your cities or 3PLs from their goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address any operational issues that may arise, ensuring quick resolutions.
  • Define, implement and monitor procedures together with local teams to improve the performance of any individual city or 3PL partner
  • Regularly assess the impact of new initiatives or changes in processes on performance, working closely with both the internal teams and 3PLs.
  • Support new fleet operations and logistics strategies, including the onboarding of external 3PL partners.
  • Lead by example, always making data-driven decisions and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence for the team.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • < 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Passion for logistics, operations, and performance optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English.
  • Empathetic, collaborative and inclusive team player with a curiosity for learning and helping others grow.
  • Experience in logistics or fleet management is a plus, but not required.
