- Construct and manage robust data pipelines to ensure a timely and accurate flow of information for all your tools and analyses.
- Develop and own scalable, self-service dashboards that tell a clear story and empower teams with actionable data.
- Potentially conduct ad-hoc analyses on core operational metrics (e.g., delivery time, efficiency, costs) to identify bottlenecks and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Act as a key data partner for stakeholders in Product and Business, translating their needs into technical solutions and enabling data-driven decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a technical or data-focused role (e.g., Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or Data Analyst focussed on automations using Python).
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries like Pandas for data manipulation.
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to write complex and optimised queries.
- Experience building dashboards and data visualisations with tools like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
WHAT GIVES YOU BONUS POINTS
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with web scraping techniques and libraries.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Previous experience in logistics, marketplace platforms, or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF…
- You enjoy writing clean (Python) scripts, building robust data pipelines, fixing bugs, creating reliable dashboards, and automating manual processes.
- You switch effortlessly between attending stakeholders’ requests, doing deep focus coding work, and defining a roadmap for future enhancements of our tools.
- You thrive in an environment in which you iterate fast, you prioritise quickly according to business needs, and you are comfortable navigating ambiguity.
THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU IF…
- You don’t enjoy coding.
- You want to spend the majority of your time on performing complex data analyses or on researching and developing cutting-edge AI models.
- You avoid interactions with stakeholders and you struggle with balancing business priorities.
