What our people say
I joined Glovo in 2021. Every day was about figuring things out and making them work. We were bringing Glovo to places where people couldn’t even order before—and suddenly, the orders would start coming in. It felt like magic. What keeps me here? The people. Most of my colleagues are friends. We push each other and aim high – that’s what keeps Glovo growing and makes you feel like anything’s possible. If you’re thinking about joining, remember three things: bring energy, have fun, and commit fully. The challenges here are huge, but so are the opportunities to grow and shape your own path!

Commercial Director, Italy
If you want to grow and develop, then Glovo is the right place for you. Compared to more structured companies, there’s a lot of freedom—you can be creative, try new things, challenge yourself every day and really see the results of what you do. At the same time, I remember that right from the start someone was always there to help and guide me. The team genuinely wants to make sure you get up to speed. So if you’re wondering whether to apply, just go for it. It’s a really great company to be at.

My journey with Glovo started about two and a half years ago in Tunisia, where we were launching the market. I began in partner operations and had the chance to build the team and processes from scratch—it was a huge learning experience. From there, I moved into Expansion, leading new city launches and later, I took on a commercial role, focusing on partner growth and tackling some tough negotiations. What really helped me grow into my current role was getting this 360° view of the business—working with different teams, managing cross-functional departments, and understanding how all the pieces fit together. What makes me stay at Glovo is first, the culture. I’ve worked in many companies, and this is by far one of the best places to be. The culture is strong, alive, and something I truly believe in. Second, the opportunity to grow. Moving from lead to manager, to director, and now GM is a clear example of how people can evolve here. If you’re ready to take on the challenges, the growth here is real!

General Manager, Ivory Coast
I joined Glovo two years ago to lead the Kenyan market, and it’s been an amazing ride. The team here is super smart, passionate, and driven, and together we’ve more than doubled the market. For me, Glovo has been a huge growth journey personally too. Coming from consulting and banking, I wanted to stretch myself, and this role pushed me in ways I hadn’t imagined. I’ve learned how to lead and inspire a big team, keep everyone motivated, and take ownership of market growth. I’ve also gotten really good at building real partnerships—working closely with partners, shaping plans together, testing ideas, and making them work. What keeps me at Glovo? Three things: the problem we’re solving, the impact we get to make, and the people I get to work with.

General Manager, Kenya
I joined Glovo four years ago in operations in Italy, and since then I’ve moved through different roles and countries. I was Head of Operations in Poland, then moved into a commercial role there, later moved to Italy, and now I’m the General Manager in Georgia. Every move has been a stretch, but that’s exactly what made me grow. What I love most about Glovo is the people for sure. If people are happy and motivated, the business will naturally follow, and I always focus on leading by example: I get my hands dirty, stay practical, and go above and beyond. That’s how I inspire my team to do the same. Glovo is intense, high-energy, and fast-paced, but that intensity is really what makes it extraordinary: every day brings new challenges, chances to learn from my team, peers, and the environment, and opportunities to discover different cultures. I think Glovo really makes you to stretch yourself and accelerate your growth in ways you never imagined.

Ludovica Luongo
General Manager, Georgia
I joined Glovo as an intern, and since then I’ve had the chance to work with incredible leaders. I’ve been able to take real decisions and try a bit of everything, which has pushed me to grow a lot as a professional. The challenges keep changing all the time, and that’s exactly what makes it exciting. I work with passionate people with really strong backgrounds, which has helped me develop even more. Being a Country Manager is intense—you touch everything. One moment you’re pitching a partner, the next you’re reviewing the business plan, then coordinating across multiple teams. Every decision is based on data, but you also have to get out there and talk to partners, couriers, and users, because there’s always that 1% you can’t see from numbers alone. That mix of responsibility, variety, and hands-on experience is what’s helped me grow so fast!

Valerio Vitrone
General Manager, Croatia
Glovo has completely changed my career. Since I joined, I’ve moved through four different departments, and every move pushed me to adapt and grow in ways I didn’t even expect. On top of that, the international opportunities have been a game-changer—living and working in different countries has opened my mind, sharpened my skills, and shaped me both as a leader and as a person. I think that what makes Glovo different is that the hands-on impact you get is unlike anything you’ll experience anywhere else.
