When you apply to a job on this site, the personal data contained in your application will be collected by Glovo as data Controller. You can contact our DPO at any time to this email address: gdpr@glovoapp.com.
Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of the Controller’s recruitment related activities, which include setting up and conducting interviews and tests for applicants, contacting previous companies where the applicant has been employed in order to check references (upon prior consent from the applicant), evaluating and assessing the results thereto, and, as is otherwise needed in the recruitment and hiring processes – such may be analysing your skills for the proposed role, The Controller may also use your data to present different roles that may suit your interests and/or skills. Such processing is legally permissible under Art. 6(1)(a), (b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) based on the consent of the applicant by submitting the application, as necessary for the purposes of conducting precontractual activities, directly requested by the applicant by submitting the candidature, addressed to analyse the possibilities of establishing a labour relation between the Controller and the applicant, and for the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, which are the application, evaluation, and selection of applicants for employment.
Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc. of whom are a cloud services and applicant tracking provider located in the United States of America and engaged by the Controller to help manage their recruitment and hiring processes. Accordingly, if you are located outside of the United States, your personal data will be transferred to the United States once you submit it to this site.
Because the European Union Commission has determined that the United States data privacy laws do not ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data collected from EU data subjects, the transfer will be subject to appropriate additional safeguards under the standard contractual clauses.
At the same time, your data and the inputs of the recruitment process will be stored on Google, Inc and Amazon Web Services servers, acting as processors, both of which comply with the General Data Protection Regulations and have a written agreement with the Controller.
Depending on the offer applied, your personal information may be transferred to other companies of the Controller’s group for the same purposes as established before and acting as a processor. Your personal data will be retained by the Controller as long as needed to fulfil the requirements of the above mentioned purposes.
In case the recruitment process does not end with the establishment of a labour relationship between the applicant and the Controller, the Controller will retain the applicant’s data for a period of 3 years from the date of the last communication, issued either by You or the Controller, declaring the end of the recruitment process without sending and/or accepting the possible offer. Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to request that your personal data be rectified, cancelled or erased, and/or to request that processing of your personal data be limited. In case You consideryour rights have been violated, you also have the right to data portability. In addition, you may lodge a complaint with an EU supervisory authority.
By consenting and submitting the candidature, the applicant confirms that they have read and are informed about the processing of personal data by the Controller and gives the necessary consent to comply with Controller’s activities regarding the recruitment process.
